Brave - a browser with rewards?

I just switched to Brave. It seems to have the engine of Chrome/Chromium (V8), and even all of its extensions, which is great, it makes the transition easier. I'm in love with the Dark Reader extension which allows me to put all the websites in dark mode and even change the font everywhere (currently using the Nunito font). It claims better privacy, while if you let it run its own private ads you get rewarded in cryptocurrency. I'm guessing the monthly amount is similar to Mylot's. Either way, I always like exploring different apps, web services etc, so I'm gonna stay with it for a bit and see if I'll keep it with the others lol. Over the years I've tried: Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, Maxthon, Dolphin (on android), Samsung Internet (on android) and UC browser. Whole lot of options these days just to browse the net. Which one is your favourite? I always seem to switch between Chrome and Firefox on my laptop, and I always use Samsung Internet on my Android.

Ok, that's some handy way to earn some crypto coins. I noticed this browser on Play store but didn't download it in the past thinking it to be a spyware.

I totally understand that. This one, other than the rewards button and the faster browsing, doesn't look any different than Chrome, which makes it easy for me to switch (and of course you can import bookmarks from the previous browser). As long as a browser supports the Dark Reader extension, I'm sold lol.
