The greatest female singer of India who was called Nightingale passed away at the age of 92 years. She got the highest civilian award of the country called Bharatratna. She sang songs in 26 languages and has Guiness Book record of more than 30000 songs. Her patriotic songs like "aye mere watan ke logon", "allah tero naam" still haunts the listeners. She had given playback to the leading actresses of Indian film industry like Vaijayantimala, Nargis, Meena Kumari, Madhubala to name a few.
