So yesterday we had a long drive to Plymouth. My boyfriend is coming down here for work and he took me so I can shop and holiday . On our way here we passed by the New Forest. Since he's got a bad back we stopped so he could stretch with this view. I was kinda hoping to see their famous wild horses but since it's too gloomy they're in hiding.

@LadyDuck Well me too. Except when it's festivals and concerts. Oh I miss big events.

I have a book about the New Forest ponies. Many are quite used to humans.

@JudyEv Yeah. How come you got a book about them? I'm assuming it's out of your love for horses.

@flapiz It's best really not to approach them. While some are used to humans, they are not really 'tame' and really shouldn't be trusted.

Exactly. It makes me wonder if there ever was an old Forest.

@flapiz Haha yes. I also felt to ask that. If it was previously called old forest. Then after maintenance and reopening called new forest. But I suppose forests are evergreen.

It is good to drive through forest. I live in the eastern plains of China, Unfortunately, our forests were cut down handred years ago to grow wheat

Oh that's sad. But I still do see a lot of nature in China when I see it in television.

Nice landscape. No human or animal life insight though. So your boyfriend is free from Covid now?

Yes we both recovered from it. It's been a while now. It only lasts for 10 days.
