Cancer vs. COVID?

Good morning my dear friends, recently we celebrated the International Day for the fight against cancer and as it practically passed by without any repercussion, in my opinion this pandemic that we are living has been from this point of view somewhat selfish, during its passage, because it is practically the only thing that is contemplated today, it is as if in a certain way there were no more diseases, don't you think so?

Since covid is currently a pandemic, it makes sense why it has filled the news and headlines.
I can't compare the two because they both can kill and you can still recover from them. But I think cancer is bad.

@CaudiaR you are right. But until the pandemic is over, it will continue filling the headlines and be our main concern

We have known for ages that cancer is a very bad disease. It hasn't been conquered yet and disppeared but quite a lot of good remedies have been found against it.
Covid, however, is new and I find it understandable that it now stands in the limelight so-to-speak.

I suppose that as the years go by, this pandemic will reach a secondary level, in the event that its cure spreads, since this is what is expected, or at least this is how I see it, God willing and soon it can be eradicated, although as I said before, this is a scenario that I find far away.

That is a great reality, if we know that we suffer from any terminal disease, what more do we care, if there are a thousand pandemics at the same time, but my point is that those who do not suffer from these diseases and especially the medical staff, should see life from this point of view, today that does not happen because everything is COVID, hopefully the next pandemic that accompanies us will be the pandemic of love.

I am on a macrobiotic diet which means I don't eat the meat and dairy that causes cancer. People need to know that meat and dairy is a big cause of cancer. If more people were to adopt a macrobiotic diet there would be less cancer patients and the cancer patients that there were would get better because the macrobiotic diet would reduce the cancer. Starve the cancer of the thing that it feeds on, meat and dairy, and the cancer will go away! No need for any chemotherapy!

We've been dealing with cancer since 3000 BC at least. Nowadays we have options like immunotherapy or combining extended fasting with chemo for better outcomes, although I still feel we could have done better after all this time.
But when you're dealing with something new and especially this contagious, and based on past history with pandemics, it's normal to focus on that more and try to control the situation (even though again, I'm quite disappointed as we could've done better).

@CaudiaR yes you're right, other diseases should not be neglected.

@healerWitch That is my point of view, this disease has been very selfish with the rest of the diseases and has wanted to take the whole picture, hopefully soon it will go away as it came, see you.
