Why I Don't Thank God

God loves me. (I'm pretty cool, so How could he not love me ... nevermind that he IS love, so he can't NOT love!)
But when good things happen for me, it's through MY goodness, MY work, the kindness of strangers, just-plain-luck ... but NOT God (except that he loves me).
Why not? Because if I THANK him for the good things that happen, I have to BLAME him for the bad things (as most atheists do to prove that he can't exist).
I know (like most Christians) that "God is Good ... All the Time ... & All the Time ... God is GREAT!" ... that 'Nothing bad comes from God; he created everything, decided it was all good (except that man was alone, which God fixed by making woman out of a piece of man), and it started 'going bad' after God told man to "hold dominion."
But atheists' declaration is CONFIRMED every time someone 'thanks God' for something that just recently happened.
