Do you like the Harry Potter movies?

Unfortunatley I got hooked on the movies first so I never read any of the books. My friends tell me that the books are way better but since I've already seen the movies, I'm thinking I might be disappointed. Either way Harry Potter rules!!

I always wait until the movie comes out before I read the book so I always love the movies but then when I read the books they are even better! This way I am able to appreciate and enjoy them both.

I love the movies :) I love the books even more, it's hard to find any movies that will live up to the books. I think they should be kept as separate things and not compared because you'll always end up disappointed

I like both. Movie is easier to understand and book are more complicated ^^ Ah.. I like movie because I never thought that I able to see snape that handsome. I thought he is ugly. lol

Harry Potter Rules!

I like the book much better. I think the movies fail to catch the magic feeling which is sorrounding the readers all the time. Parts which I liked very much were just left out, unnecessary new parts with no reason whatsoever were put in. Except for the first movie I have to say that I always had been disappointed in them. I can understand that it is of course impossible to fit everything of the books in a movie but I don't think the totally new parts were enriching to the series.

I m so eargerly waiting for the next movie of harry potter to come and I m sych a big fan of Harry potter movies and I like the last part of the harry potter series very much..........

I liked the first three editions of the movie very much, but was absolutely disappointed with the Goblet of Fire which I think is the worst movie of the series whereas the book is the best one of the series. I think the way Chris Columbus has brought the magical world to life in the movies is very good and his creativity has been great. But, the problem comes from some of the performers who have not been up to the scratch. Specially the current Dumbledore, he simply does not know what is required of his role and over-acts too much. Also in Goblet of Fire, the fact that Columbus could not decide on what to drop and what to retain in the movie made it a dismal one. Overall as a series if I look at it, I feel the HP movies are quite decent adaptations of the book.
