I Told My Mum

I was trying to spare my mum from heartache as I was hopeful I could fix it without getting involved but I guess mother knows best. She's been trying to check on me since yesterday like she new and I finally cracked and told her my relationship isn't going well. Somehow there is something very comforting about letting it all out to her. I'm still very sad but I feel stronger. There's power in a mother's love.

I’m so glad your mother could comfort you. Take care of yourself. If your relationship isn’t going well, get out of it.

I am giving him space to process what he's undergoing but well if it does not work out I'm kinda now okay with it thanks to my mother's reassurance.

Nobody knows you and what is in your heart like your loving mother. Let her help you thru this difficult time, she wants that for you.

I know I do feel a little bad burdening her with my problems. But I needed her.

@flapiz A child's problems are never a burden to a loving mother, you give it to her, she will help you thru it.

Your mother surely will be of a great support, it was a wise decision to tell her.

Yeah she told me to not blame myself for anything and to think if I could really in the long run support a man who is quite unstable. She said I deserve someone who is sure of me. She reminded me of my worth.

@flapiz You have a wise and intelligent mother and she is right. You need a strong man who supports you, non one unstable who makes you unhappy.

My life is governed by love and usually when I'm heartbroken everything else goes wrong like my whole world is falling apart. But my mum pulled me out of my dooms day.

Mothers really have something that we commonly call experience and they are always able to realize when we falter at some point, I hope you overcome any obstacle that stands in your way to achieve love, regards and happy day.

@CaudiaR Yeah seeing her sad for me made me less sad as I don't want her to be sad.

@flapiz A support is always appreciated and even more if it is our own mother who always looks through the same eyes, regards

Thank you Snowy. I'm hoping to fix it but I'm now a little bit mentally ready to let it go.

Me too. Every thing may change but a mother's love remains.

I'm sure your mother is a bit sad for you too. I think it is good that you told her. Mothers prefer to know stuff even if the news isn't always good. They usually have an instinct too when something isn't quite right.

Yeah her instinct was spot on. I'm sure she is sad for me but she did made me realise my value.

I know. I'm still waiting for his decision but even if it's a bad one I will accept it. I'm giving him space to think.
