Well tonight I an just going to have leftovers for supper. Last night I cooked some neckbones in my slow cooker and then when it was done I cooked a little pot of rice in some of the broth, I also warmed up some corn and cooked a cake of cornbread.
I hadn't had this in a while, so it was real good to me. When I bought the pack of neckbones, I couldn't believe how much they charge for those things, mainly what your paying for is the weight of the bones. I can still remember back when I was young , the store where my mother shopped would give people the neckbones for free to feed to their pets.
I guess they relize that even though there wasn't a huge amount of mean on the bones, people were making a meal out of them. So they started charging for them, bones and all! lol
I know a lot of people refuse to eat leftovers, I think some things are better warmed up the next day. What do you think, do you ever eat leftovers?

It is crazy how much things cost right now. Hopefully one day things will get better and maybe the prices will drop back down. I also eat leftovers a lot. My problem is, since it's only me to cook for, it's kind of hard to cook just a small amount of somethings. So I just eat it again the next day. I have went as far as eating something I fixed for three days in a row, after that I throw it away, I don't even want to see it after that. lol

@sweetashoney I hope things change soon. I cut recipes in half often.
