Oh goodness the guy that works in one of the stores in the mall this weekend told me he felt bad for me. He has asked me while the kids where looking at some toys if I was doing anything special for Valentine’s Day? I said no. His respond was “oh, no! I’m so sorry for you!”
Why you sorry? I’m married, have 3 kids one that you clearly see standing next to me. I don’t need to do something special on Valentine’s Day I can do that pretty much any other day of the week with my husband while the kids are school and he has his day off.

I don't understand his comment. I find these Valentine's days and anniversary celebrations superficial, unnecessary, and do not translate to happiness nor a successful relationship.
They're just a gimmick to get people to buy stuff.

We celebrate anniversary, but our wedding anniversary weather to other people that is unnecessary when that year mark hits your like own yeah we made if. It’s for the two people to celebrate whatever way they choice.
My husband say Valentine’s Day is a her holiday. I don’t do roses and that’s all I see on Valentine’s Day and we use as a say to go on a day if we can without the kids. Same with our anniversary hardly get nights without the kids.
