A short poem: The short life of country singer, Hawk Eagleton

Hawk was suffering from all of the pain possible, to feel.
Mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
All he saw was darkness in everything.
Not a shed of light got past his pain.
Hawk died from his pain, at only twenty-nine.
His life had been hard,
but his voice lives on in his songs.
Hawk Eagelton, remains famous, as the great country singer that he was.
Somehow, Hawk made it into Heaven.
God needed a country singer for his band.
Hawk got to sing along with God then,
and God's voice, surprisingly, was soft and sweet too.
Hawk was at home, doing what he loved without pain.
Pain lives in the present, in the body, and mind.
It should not live in you spiritually, when you love.
Fill yourself with God, and let your pain go to him.
Sing heartedly, knowing God's soft voice sings with you too.

A song being released from our hearts always makes us smile, despite our pain.

To rise above relentless physical pain is not at all easy as it weighs us down every minute enveloping our attitude and the will to live.
Hawk did earn his stripes to sing with the God Almighty himself through his undying effort fortified by love. No effort goes unrewarded despite the odds stacked against us when we keep pegging away till our last breath here.
And Hawk carried on from where he let off here but at the highest company imaginable!
No greater reward is possible at all.

Thanks, siva.
Pain can be hard to manage too, as pain killers like morphine are addictive, and more and more of it is needed to mask the pain over time too.
Morphine was a "blessing" for my Mum though, as the pain from her cancer, would have been unbearable otherwise.
Yes, Hawk was rewarded, and I suspect we will all have a reward waiting for us too, when, we too make it into Heaven.

@innertalks Yes, we live on hope, belief, and trust that good times and blessings will continue.
My friend too had to be given morphine liquid in his final hours before he succumbed to stomach cancer.

@innertalks Your mother did have lasting love for the family right till her final moments to survive past your sister's birthday.
One of my relatives passed away a few days before his grandson's wedding but the function went on still as his family felt he would have wanted it that way.
