Another long (but fun) day ahead.

I made it through yesterday evening's music lessons in good shape. Sometimes I am starving by the time I get home on Wednesdays, but I had a longer break yesterday and was able to throw together a frozen turkey dinner in the late afternoon.
Today I work with the toddlers at the preschool. It should be fun. I'm actually doing an experiment with my little 23-month-old friend. No, I didn't put electrodes in her brain. The last two times I've seen her since she and I first "Tower of Hanoi bonded" (tower of Hanoi is a common preschool toy), she has toddled over to me with the same toy.
Even older 1-year-olds like repetition and "scripts." I can think of certain toys or books that have been parts of the scripts I've established with many of the younguns I've worked with. We'll see if she's there today.
Anyway, I hope every one has a nice balance between "gettin' 'er done" and relaxation today. Let me know what you're up to.

@celticeagle It may warm up into the lower 70s. That would be perfect.

She was there. But she was in a grouchy mood for some reason. I didn't get to do my "experiment" because we were never in the same room together with the Tower of Hanoi. But she did bring me an outside toy we'd played with together before.

Cute picture. Nothing much going on here. We have a new coating of ice and s**w. The old stuff has mostly melted; and now we have a new 5" or so.

I hope you enjoyed your day with the littles.
I had a pretty good time with my 4th graders. We had a little time left before lunch today and they begged me to let them hear/read more of my new work-in-progress. I've been using it now and then to enhance my writing lessons.

You're doing an experiment without brain electrodes? How can you trust the results?
