Oh, the Indignity!

Emmett's Adventures, Lego mini-figure, revenge

I realize that I am small and that my bed is soft and squishy. However, choosing to use me as a pincushion is a bit rich. Unfortunately, that is what my quality of life has deteriorated to. Like everyone else, I can blame COVID 19 for the lack of adventure in my life. No great travel adventures. No bar-hopping. No wild parties with my large circle of close friends. Instead, for the past 2 years, I have stayed at home in bed…and MrsJ has used me as a pincushion. It all seems rather ridiculous since I think it is highly likely that could contract COVID (or any other human pathogen) in the first place. Revenge for the pincushion treatment seems appropriate. I think I will arrange to be under one of her bare feet as she walks across the floor in the night. --Emmett

That makes me think of a comedian who commented on the fact that Denmark had been found to have the happiest populace. He remarked 'I don't know how they can be happy when they must be treading on Lego all the time!'

MrsJ has 4 children...and a HUGE amount of Legos. She has stepped on pieces many times, so she should know that small though I am, I can still make her suffer!

@SophiaMorros I'm sure there's a moral in there somewhere.

Please don't be so angry on Mrs J. We all humans have suffered indignity in the last two years. I particularly have been treated like a punch bag in the recent past .

Don´t be cruel. She is doing the best she can. Even us, human beings have had to stop having wild parties.

I have three walking needles who don't fail to use my skin for their personal use. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Just keep in mind, my little friend, that you winding up under her foot means you will get stepped on, possibly kicked, or even picked up and thrown. Dismemberment is not out of the question.

You might have a point about the dismemberment bit...

Poor Emmett. It may not be a good idea to put yourself under her foot. You might find yourself consigned to the rubbish bin.

@SophiaMorros Oh, so you are a substitute for one of her 21 posts? If she has a conscience, she will now do 22!!

Nah, she wouldn't do that. Who would pick up the slack on the days she doesn't feel like posting anything on myLot?

Hang in there everything will return to normal and you can go out again to enjoy life. You do not want anyone to step on you and get hurt or hurt you.

I seem to be pretty indestructable. MrsJ, however, has very tender feet!

Oh Emmett, do not worry those who stick pins should sleep with one eye open. But at least she doesn't zip you into your bed completely, you seem to be out a bit here.

@SophiaMorros I am sure that during the pandemic you would have been a valued treasure. Many who did not have pass times, like Mrs J, had to find one.

I've spent most of COVID zipped up and being used as a pincushion...at least she didn't stick me in a corner and completely forgotten that I exist.
