It really IS the Wild Wild West out there.
I got a notice from Facebook that someone tried to log into my new account from some Southern state.
I was able to change my password and maintain my account this time.
My old account is still hacked and it seems there's nothing I can do about it.
Have you been hacked?

No, I haven’t been hacked, but I have been spoofed (where they copy your cover and profile photos and create an account claiming to be you). I’ve always told my friends to ask a Louvin Brothers question if they get a “friend request” from me after already being my friend.
I’m spending less and less time on Facebook. If it weren’t for my interest in watching live coverage of severe weather I’d ditch it all together. (Most TV stations will simulcast their live coverage on FB, which makes it easy to find and view.)

@TheHorse — the way they’re acting, it’ll soon be the AOL of the 21st century.

I haven't been hacked but I keep getting friend request from people that are already my friends. I no long accept friend request unless I talk to them in person and ask if they sent one.

@TheHorse Yea, I'm afraid to accept any of them without talking to them first.

Years ago when I was on AOL I used to get hacked a lot. I would stay up late chatting or some other thing. I'd wake up the next morning with a note from AOL saying I might get my account taken away if I continued. Someone was using my account to write a bunch of fraudulent letters to peope. I would have to send AOL proof I wasn't doing it. It happened several times. AOL wasn't very secure.

I don't think so, but that could be why my birthday greetings came late.

I've been cheated. Been mistreated. I've been put down. I've been pushed 'round.
But I've never been hacked.
I guess I don't get out enough.
