I didn't know untill a little while ago that it got up to 86 degrees outside today.
I looked online to see what the temperature was outside after glancing at my thermostat. I was kind of shocked that it was 80 degrees in here. To me though, it really didn't seam that hot in my house to me. Of course that's the way I am in the summer time, everyone will be saying it's hot in my house and it feels good to me. Most of the time in the summer I keep it set on about 83 to 85. I know a lot of people will say "wow that to hot, but to me, it might be hot but it still not as hot as the outside when the the temperature reaches almost 100.
What do you think, is 85 to hot for ya! lol

yes, but like you I don't like that cold air coming down on me. I'm comfortable if it's 77 degrees in here. But the kids here, my grown daughter and her man, don't like moving the thermostat, so I often freeze. because the weather keeps changing day and night. Think thats why I'm getting pneumonia again

Yes, it is. I would have trouble breathing. In the summer, the AC is sset to about 75. And, it didn't even hit 80 outside today, and That was hard to breathe for me. I was starting to sweat, and I hadn't even left my drivway.

I think part of mine is, as I've gotten older it seems like it doesn't take that much for me to get chilly.I think that's why it doen't bother me. In the spring I just cut my unit off and open the windows and let the breeze in, it gets about 75 in here, at night time when the temperature drops down it then is cool enough where it feels real good in here.

That's the temp. that I mostly kept it on during this winter, my bedroom is always colder then the rest of the house, so it felt good in my bedroom under the covers at night time.

I live in Fort Lauderdale---85 degrees is a normal high--'cold' is below 70 degrees--we don't know hot--we know humidity and air-conditioning!!!

I remember when I was growing up in Florida, 85 weren't nothing to us. That might be why I don't mind the heat now. lol
