What Grocery Item You Can't Be Without?

Greetings, readers.
Hoping you guys are doing great in your part of the world. For today's post, I have a small discussion in mind.
We all do our rounds of grocery shopping and I guess most of us have a way of where to buy and what to buy etc.
Now, my simple question is, what is one particular grocery item you can't do without? For me personally, it will have to be any type of vegetable.
I need to at least buy a salad bowl or get any 1 type of vegetable. What about you guys? Thanks and see you in the next discussion round.

I would have to say, milk. That's something my husband and I buy once a week even if we need it or not. We keep at least two gallons in our fridge at any one time.

@MarieCoyle Milk is good. That's a good answer and buying a gallon can last indeed.

If two gallons is good enough for your family consumption, then that's awesome.

I cook with milk sometimes, but I don't just drink milk. A gallon generally lasts quite a while here.

Coffee. I know it's not really a food item but it's the one thing I don't want to go without. There are many things that I must have from the grocery store, but coffee is the most important to me.

It's hard to choose just one thing.

Oh yes. Coffee is a must for most. It's okay, that's actually a grocery item. So, good answer there.

Milk and Biscuits are the most basic.
After that Fruits and Veggies, Cooking oil, Wheat Dough (Atta) and Clarified Butter (Ghee).

I'm not sure there is anything I can't do without. When I'm hungry, I go see if a certain item is in the kitchen. If we don't have that, then I look for the next item on my mental list... I keep looking until I find something that sounds good at that time. *shrug* I'm fairly easy to please.

@ihasaquestion Sometimes, I'll tell Pretty I wish we had something and she'll ask if I want it bad enough to go buy some... Sometimes I'll go get dressed and other times I'll just tell her I'm not that hungry.

@DaddyEvil That's good. If there's no urgency, there's no need to rush to buy.

It's a hard one. I think eggs. I love eggs and eat them almost every day for breakfast.

Mine would have to be coffee. I absolutely have to have it. My second choice would be fresh fruits and vegetables, but coffee HAS to be first!

I admit it.
I'm addicted to my coffee. The idea of living without it scares me. For me, it is a must-have.

I probably need vegetables too (I've just never gone without them long enough to know ), but the one thing I HAVE noticed ... if I go for two or three days without eating at least one egg, I get 'as sick as a dog!'

Ahh, I see. You have to choose only one; eggs or veggie then?
But I guessed you said vegetables huh.

@ihasaquestion Yeah, and--now that I think of it--I might've been eating too many sweets at that time (it was around Christmas/New-Year's ... or maybe Easter)
