The new Halloween movie

I would like to see the new Halloween movie but I would have to rent it and it is outrageous nowadays to rent a movie. I can't afford it so I will wait until it becomes available on television I suppose. Has anyone seen the Halloween movie? Was it any good?

Not sure what year it came out, it is the newest Halloween movie. I've seen the rest of them. Some of them are old, but I haven't seen the newest one yet.

I saw the original one and it was very good. Somehow I do not think the new one will be able to recapture the essence of the original one, but not having seen it I can't make that assessment. As for renting movies, I can't even tell you the last time I did. I have Prime and Netflix, but I would imagine this movie is not available on either of those yet.
