I Dunno What to Do With Myself Today

Today, for the first time in weeks, I don't have anything that I absolutely have to do. So now I'm looking at all the things I want to do and am getting that bit of neurodivergent meltdown where it's too overwhelming, so now I'm sitting here not doing anything at all.
It's a nice day so maybe I'll just go out and enjoy the sun for a bit.
I should write something for a Medium post but I keep getting caught up on that since everything seems so trivial in light of the whole war going on across the world and all.
Maybe I'll get caught up on some crafts I haven't had time for instead.
Oh, or I could work more on my fiction pieces.
Ahhhhh, I don't know!
Maybe I'll just write down all the things I could do in a numbered spreadsheet and let a die roll decide my fate. That requires less thinking.

You actually ARE doing something right now... you're helping to keep me amused while I wait for the plumber to show up and fix my dang kitchen cold water faucet. The cold water won't shut off so I turned it off under the sink. I've been washing my dishes with just hot water and keep burning my hands.
Normally, I'd still be asleep. I was on myLot from 5 pm yesterday until 6 am this morning. The plumber finally called back and ask for a confirmation of my address, at 11 am, and then told me he's in another city but will be here sometime this afternoon. *sigh*

Lmao, as I see this the next day and realized I abandoned you at some point.
Did you get it fixed? Did the plumber abandon you as well? Did you have to continue burning your hands?
What happened in the plumber saga???

@akruser13 Uh huh... I see how you are now. I figured you found something else to do so I didn't worry about it.
The plumber showed up, looked at the faucet, looked at the pipes under the sink and told me he'd have to buy a new faucet set so would be back in a couple of days. I'm still burning my hands to do the dishes. *shrug*

@DaddyEvil I actually realized I was spending too much time on myLot and if I sat here all day I'd get nothing done at all, lol. I was like "Put it away, go actually do something with your life."
That sucks dude. On the plus side at least it's your sink and not your shower, right? You don't have to either freeze or melt your skin off.

@sol_cee That's the one, yes, lol. I got to see it a little early through a special AMC promotion.

I was procrastinating. I'm good at that. I wound up helping the roommate's kid with his homework and going to the theater later to see Batman.

Why don't you start by getting fresh air and trying to clear your head. Then break down your to-do list by importance to you and length of time it'll take to get it done.

@akruser13 I doubt the dogs know the difference. They get outside, that's the extent of it for them.

I let the dogs play in the front yard for a little bit. I've got workers in the back so doggos have had to make due with their small dog run the last few days. They appreciated the grass lol.

@kaylachan Well they always have access to the dog run. It's just a small, fenced in plot of dirt they have access to with their dog door. It doesn't give them much exercise.

Sometimes you need to do that so you can see the light through the trees.

Very true. I had a nice, lazy day and then went to the theater.

Throwing a dice sounds a good idea. Then you could decide you don't really want to do that and do something else instead.

It can be frustrating when you finally have a chance to relax but don't know what to do with yourself. Rolling the dice seems like a good idea.

Lol right? I don't want to sit here all day and do nothing at all.
I'm gonna catch up on my replies here and then fish my D&D dice out lol.
