Hopefully They Will Fix My House

As some of you may already know, last year I was able to acquire a house in July through monthly amortization. For me it is already a nice investment.
The Property Management told me that they will fix everything that needs fixing. Before the turn over, I had the chance to check the property. I thought it was good. During the turn over, one Property staff listed (again) what needs fixing. I waited for months. In October, I went to the Marketing office to follow up. They asked to write a letter, so I did. Then they told me that once reviewed and approved, Property will do the necessary fix. So I waited. I am very patient.
I did not follow up given the situation and the holiday season. Right after the holiday, I went back to Marketing office in January. Told the staff that no one went here. After that two men went to check the house again. Took pictures so he can report , I said go ahead. Waited another weeks, no update. I went to Property office directly. The staff, said I don't have record. No record that two guys went in to take photos. Went to Marketing again to report. The staff promised that she will do the needful. I am still calm. I did not raise my voice.
Yesterday, three guys came in. I have not seen them before. Asked me again to open my house so they can check. The guy was holding the letter I wrote back in October. He listed everything (again)
Hopefully this is it!

It sounds like the agency isn't very good at their job. I'd probably complain about it. If nothing happened after the complaint, I'd start talking with an attorney about suing the agency. But I'm not a nice person when someone is screwing with me/my money.

I thought of that. And found out that there are others complaining about the termites.

@DaddyEvil termites are the reasons our childhood house was demolished.

I am planning to go to the government agency. They are the ones provided the housing loan.
I am thinking to stop paying but I already paid around 90,000 pesos. If I stop, the property will foreclose and will get banned from the agency. Will see if I can get my money back (negative). Will wait if they will take action and fix my house so I can have my own house I can call home.

Very frustrating. They don't live up to their promise. Been living in my brother's house next door because I can't apply for electricity until they fix my house.

@jobelbojel Can you hire someone else to do it?

@snowy22315 I can but the house was still under warranty when I reported it but did not work on it. I wrote a letter to the management and they considered my letter.

I tried to be calm and it worked. I hate being stress and impatient.

It's time. If no update this month I will really go to the government agency to report them.

@jobelbojel Good for you. Are they a government agency or a private company?

What needs fixing in the house? Is the house a new build?

The community was established years ago. But I am not sure when these houses are built.

@sunrisefan, it might not be in a subdivision.

Oh no, it just means they didn't do anything the past several months and has taken action only now. That is disappointing that it took that long before they have gotten to act on your request. But anyway, hoping that they will do something on your request now.

@jobelbojel Haha I guess most developers are like that. Since they are most likely to be inundated with requests like yours you really have to follow up with them so they know that you are serious with your request.

People said they are really like this. Follow up is needed in order for them to take action.

Exactly, when they are selling or on the process of transferring the title they were eager to help

Hopefully, 3 guys went here yesterday and said they got letter from Property. They will start working in the house but did not start because I still staff in the house. We transferred everything to my brother's. I hope they will show up today.
