This morning the hubby went slep sliding away on the icy stairs. His feet flew out from under him and he landing on his back side. I was happy to see he didn't land on his back. Right now he is in bed. He took some Aleve and we are all hoping it does it's job. At this moment I have a couple of Hungry Man dinners in the oven. I found one that has chicken and ham. I didn't know they even had that selection. Anyway. I guess it's TV and sitting for the rest of the day fo us. He won't be able to do much today. See everyone later.

I'm glad he's ok and hopefully learned to take things slower when tackling the icy steps. I won't even try to go outside if it gets that icy here.

That must hurt terribly. Try to ask him if he feels like a little gentle stretching or walking around so that his back doesn't cease up on him. But only he will know if that is what his body needs.

@HazySue That is good gentle stretching should keep him from ceasing up, he will know his limits. I hope that he heals well.

@HazySue It is no fun to fall on the ice. One can really hurt themselves. I hope he feels better soon. I would not think he would want to do much after what happened on the ice to him.

This is terrible, Susan! I'm sure the Aleve will help your husband's pain go away. Jay and I both fell last winter. Jay fell on his left shoulder and I injured my right shoulder. What? You both be very careful and stay safe!

It did help take the edge off of the pain. Oh dear, I think we have more confidence in our walking on ice safely than we should. I haven't fallen yet, thank goodness. I hope you and Jay didn't hurt yourselves to badly.

@HazySue I hope your husband is doing better, as time passes by. It was last winter we fell, it took about a week to heal up.
