Checking In

Still no internet. There's several reports around LA County in general of this particular provider being down. Not to be that guy but I do find it a little strange that it broke very shorty after they announced they were going to be allowing free calls to Ukraine. Coincidence? Or something more sinister and they're trying to keep it under wraps so folks don't panic? Either way, it's been down two and a half days now. I'm running low on my rollover data which is why I'm not keeping up with replies like I'd like to. Hopefully they'll fix it by tomorrow, this is getting old really fast.

Hope it is fixed soon. Internet has become one of the basic needs of modern life. We had slow or no internet couple of days last week. News reports said about few damages done due to ongoing metro construction. Glad that it was fixed soon.

You know they were really just trying to limit your contact with the outside world, right? Your government was worried you were passing along National secrets to your friends on myLot.

Surely no coincidence at all, I never believe this kind of coincidence! Do not worry, you will reply when you can.

Who is your provider? Uhm... wouldn't it be a little difficult for you to be "that guy"? I don't think you're... quite... equipped for that... unless there's something you're not telling us? Edit to add: I'm a little surprised the teenager hasn't killed all of you yet. Tell him if he gets too bored, he can call me and I'll help him come up with... interesting.... ways to have fun with all the still-living bodies, assuming there are some that are still living...

He was so bored he was on the treadmill for like an hour last night lmao! I guess not having internet was sort of a perk in that sense. I have Frontier Communications, one of the fiberoptic lines. Super high speed when it actually works

@akruser13 That's not a company I've ever heard of... I hope they get you back up and running soon. Would you like my phone number to give to the teenager? (You should tell him what I said... He might get a giggle out of it. )

I had to call my ISP this morning because our internet was down as well. My son couldn't connect that he had to use his data. Fortunately, it came back this afternoon. Hope yours will be fixed tomorrow.
