Happy Thursday Everyone! the sun is peeking out today but there's some pretty big gray clouds hogging up the sky. Looks like the temperature will be above the freezing mark so that white stuff that fell yesterday should be gone by the afternoon. Just in time for another mess on Saturday . I really shouldn't complain because it really hasn't been a very snowy winter. Yes we got snow but each time it was only a few inches and didn't cause much trouble. I'm quite surprised that we didn't get at least one huge snowstorm.
Spring is right around the corner and this weekend we change the clocks. I do love that it's staying lighter longer. I'll be happy to kick the winter doldrums to the curb.
I don't have any plans for the weekend because tomorrow I have to go to the dentist and have my tooth pulled. My daughter is going to take me because I have to go to an oral surgeon and he works out of a different office than my dentist (they have two offices). I'm already feeling anxious about having to go somewhere new and meeting a new dentist. I just wish I could step into a time machine and exit after it's all done.
Today I'm just going to try and relax and not worry about it.
Do you get anxious about things?

I never make weekend plans, they'd never turn out anyway. We have had a light winter so far, with light snow storms. Yet April can be treacherous, so I can't say spring is here, not yet anyway. I have too much anxiety today, enough weight on my back for a week!

Do you normally get anxious about this type of thing or is it because of COVID and not wanting to meet new people because of that?
I used to worry about new situations in life back when I was younger but overall now I try to go with the flow. I'm not always successful but I'm lots better than I was years back.

It's a combination of covid and new people . I used to be the opposite when I was younger but as I've gotten older I just seem to get anxious about certain things. I'm sure it will go fine and I'm happy my daughter is coming along

Going for appointments never bothered me when I was younger but now it seems just having to make an appointment is stressful.

I hope it is as easy as my two extraction were, not really any pain when it’s done. Sending hugs

I'm not afraid of the pain. Its just the whole ordeal that makes me anxious especially since my appointment isn't until noon.

@Marilynda1225 - There is so little we can do, just hope that this war will not become a world war.
I wish you luck with your tooth.

Yes, I do... I dislike new things.
I'm sure everything will be alright for you. And it will be over before you know it.

@Marilynda1225 I hate having any work done on my teeth. I had a really bad experience when I was 16, so don't trust dentists.

I used to get anxious about dental appointments but have more or less conquered it.
Do the clocks really change this weekend? You're the first person I've seen to mention it.

For some strange reason I get anxious about all doctors these days. Even ones I've had a long time. I too often wish I could just sleep through it all and come out fine. Good luck dear

I hope all goes smoothly and well at the dentist . . . you figure they've done this a billion times, so you'll be just fine. I do get anxious about a lot of things . . . I can keep cool about it during the day, but my anxieties come out in the middle of the night .

@Marilynda1225 How did it go? Yah, taking care of the mouth afterwards is a bit annoying, but hopefully that part goes fast. Is it coffee time yet .

I'm sure it will go fine . I've had teeth pulled before so it's not the pain. My appointment isn't until noon and it would be less stressful if it was earlier.
Sorry to hear your anxiety comes in the middle of the night.

You are changing your clocks before us. We change ours on the 25th of this month which is a Friday. I only go to my dental hygienist to check my teeth and clean them now because before I used to go to the dental hygienist and then dentist right afterwards. Now, I just visit her and really like her. That is nice that your daughter will take you and you will have company waiting and going home and going there. I know how you feel about meeting a new dentist or doctor. That would be very cool if you could step into a time machine and exit after it is done. I get very anxious and lately I am more anxious about things than was before.

I hope your tooth pulling went well. We had two big snowstorms this season; so I hope we don't get too much today and tomorrow. We are out of salt; and none of the stores have any. We must keep the porch and walk clear for Meals on Wheels. I can't wait for the time change! Yes, I get anxious about things. I'm a worrywart.
