Spring break next week

I was sort of hoping for a snow day this week. We had a little more snow last night but not much. So, I think most of the people I talk to have their minds somewhere else. I confess that I do. I am not quite ready for work today. I need to put on shoes, and dream up a lunch. I could take some of the apple crisp I made last night, but that would not be right. I do not know what we will eat tonight, either. Perhaps, besides the apple crisp we will have oven roasted veggies and smoked sausage. So for now I am off to start my day. My Friday. I think I will wear boots to keep my feet warm.

We started getting tiny flakes of snow around 2:30 am. A few places on the pavement and on the grass in the front yard are all we've gotten, so far. It's 21F at 6:45 am. The forecast shows it might snow until around 6 pm today with a high of 31F. I hope you enjoy your day at work.

Spring break here next week also, and the Centre will be closed because there's just not enough room for moms to bring their kids. The building is under renovation/construction and the big room we usually meet in is off limits right now. We're crowded into the Fireside Room until further notice.
