It is a big day in my country today as the is a change of President. Our last President is leaving La Moneda, the government palace. He will now board a car to go to Valparaiso where the Congress is. There the change of government will take place.
I´m wondering, old as I am, how will the new President dress. He is the youngest President we have had (35 years old) and during all his campaign I have never seen him with a tie but I have seen the tatoos he has in his arms.
Yesterday and today, dignataries from around the world have arrived. The one with more news coverage has been the King of Spain, I imagine that partly due to his being so tall.
I will now have breakfast (with a piece of that chocolate cake) because we have to wait yet for the ceremony.
See you later friends.

This is the ceremony where the old president gives the government to the new one. There are many important people invited, such as Presidents from other countries.

@LadyDuck That is so terrible! I decided to stop watching those news for a couple of days after the bombing of a children´s hospital

I hope so too although I worry about the power of some violent groups. And yes, I voted for him.

I hope your new president is allowed to rule well. Sometimes they get mired down by all the bureaucrats around them.
