Went to San Diego Today!

My brother from up in WA flew down to San Diego on a whim with his girlfriend. They had flight vouchers they needed to use before they expired. It's about a two hour drive from me so I was back and forth on going (because, you know, the gas). I jokingly told my roommate if he drove us down then I'd buy him taquitos from his very favorite place down there. He actually said yes! So we drove down, ate yummy taquitos, hung out with my brother in Old Town - the super old historical part of San Diego, and headed back. The weather was perfectly sunny and warm, we got root beer floats, I got some chocolate tea, and overall it was just a really fun time! It was good, I needed a little vacation from life for a bit. I've been stressing lately. Now I'm feeling energized and ready to go again!
