I want to be a kid again!

Whenever we visit a winery in Western Australia, I always look to see if there are any unusual decorations or other attractions. The first winery we stopped at had this cute model car on their lawn. All the men in our party were wishing they were young enough and small enough to have a ride. They told me the model but I’ve forgotten it now. Perhaps a myLotter might know what it is. We saw more interesting miniature vehicles at the nougat factory. I put up photos of them in my previous post. Tomorrow, we are driving about an hour to see my 83-year-old sister. I find it hard to believe I have a sister who is so old. Luckily, she enjoys good health. I’ll also get my goat fix while I’m there. Now it’s off to bed for me. It is much cooler tonight and it should be easier to sleep.

Ah to be a kid again, for so many reasons. Our son had a little battery powered jeep when he was very young. They go fast enough to give a young parent a good work out trying to keep up with it.

The car looks cool and worth looking at! Good to know that your sister enjoys a good health at this age. Health matters a lot in our lives. "Goat Fix" - is that a device or something else?

She has had some challenges in the past but is fit again now. A 'fix' is when you desperately need something so you might be hanging out for a game of cricket and when it happens then you will have had your 'cricket fix'. I love goats but don't have one so when I go to my sister's I can interact with the goats and it makes me feel better.

Love it, no drinking and driving though even in micro machines. Tell the wise sister I said hi and age is just a number.

@JudyEv I think everyone did. Whats funny is one time I was looking for new job. Any thing we should know about. I got a DUI a few years ago. OK, everyone has one of those. I just laughed. Made me feel better at least.

@LadyDuck That's so true. Some days you feel really good and think you can do this and that but it only takes a little of 'this' and you're too sore and tired to even think about 'that'.

Pretty had an electric car, truck and motorcycle when she was small. I always wished I was small enough to ride in them. *sigh* I hope you enjoy your sleep.

@JudyEv But the outcome wouldn't be that bad. When I was a kid I got run over by a 'big kid' on a 'two-wheeler'. I got knocked down but wasn't really hurt.

Possibly it was. I didn't get close enough to see. I don't think it was a pedal car so it could well have been electric.

“What do you want to be when you grow up” is that mean trick people play on us to get us anxious to get to adulthood. Then we get there and discover adulthood is a scam. Have a good evening and a safe trip to see your sister and goats!
