Bird Feeder Was Snow Covered

Sunshine today, a little warmer than yesterday. Still a little snow on the ground. The photo is the deck bird feeder. Yesterday it was completely frozen over. Today the sun is starting to melt the snow. I went out earlier to clean the snow out. The peanuts were frozen underneath. The same with the bird bath. Frozen water. All is fresh for them now. As soon as I came back inside, the birds visited the feeder. They watch me from the trees in the backyard. Got some projects done inside and taking a break before I start again. The birds watch me too, as I top up the feeders. No snow... yet, so we've not had that problem

I would like for them to eat out of my hand maybe once day. The snow is almost gone.

Haha crows always watch us. All I know is never piss off a crow. They like the bird police better than the real police because will not get involved unless you really screw up. I pity a fool if that happens.

Thanks, my day went very well. It seems Roscoe is better trained than I had thought so I had a nice day with him. I still can't trust him not to try to dig under the fence but that's ok, I get exercise too while being outside with him, it's win win.

@jstory07 They are spoiled. Wild birds, but some people can train them to eat out of their hand. Maybe one day I can.

We had almost no snow this year, the bowl full of water for the birds was still frozen this morning, but the temperature went up during the day.
