Yes, finally! Yesterday a guy that my mother-in-law suggested came out and looked at our AC unit. Yes he works with AC and heaters but he doesn’t at more of an affordable prices. He fixed what was wrong which wasn’t much of anything and replaced it. For his time, and part it came to a total of $125. I wasn’t home when he came by but my husband and boys where. We got it fixed before the crazy hot weather hits. Which means we still have a big part of the money we put aside for the AC to use for any back up or replacement of something else in the house.

@allen0187 summer in the US hits different areas at different times. Florida and California is always warm. Virginia it’s close to spring so it’s not that warm yet. Summer isn’t for a few more months usually it’s July when we get pretty high temps in the 100’s

Yes especially where I live. I’ve loved places where they are are no AC’s but it definitely is a nice perk to have.

As am I and we have a big chunk left that we might look into replaces either the front doors lock or the screen door. Both need to be replaced for different reason. I have to price shop then first so I know how much it might be.
