I was so surprised one early morning after the storm last year, a neighbor whose husband is a fisherman asked for my unused bags. With her was her daughters smiling shyly to convince me.
Without mental reservation, I told her to meet me near their home for I'll bring there the bags. In the afternoon at 3 I went near their home surrounded with bananas and trees not theirs and handed her 4 bags I had used twice only.
The feeling is nice if make people happy. Donating is something.I know many of you donate stuffs to charity. Thanks for reading.
Photo is me hair not fixed hehehe with neighbors.

@marlina, When I was a new teacher young and on the go, buying of bags, clothes, shoes attracted me. In fact, I donated 2 sacks of clothes I no longer like to wear. They created traffic at home. Before pandemic I brought 2 big bags of my clothes in my classroom and let my students chose. They were so excited. Sometimes I brought my students those no budget for food in our university canteen and freed them lunches.

It's so kind of you to donate thoese bags especially when you used them twice only. I also donated my books to the small children of the maid who comes home to clean. They are so cute. So happy that they can study in English and maybe have a good life in the future.

@rsa101 actually that was the argument at home what do they do for the bag. But one time I saw that neighbor waiting for a vehicle for the mall I think, she used the bag I gave her. She waved at me. And this neighbor was hired by the local DOH to enlist ages per family members for covid vaccination and she listed people at home. She also helped us to get vaccinated without falling in line. She's so gutsy despite finished only 3 years in high school She married too young 18.

@jstory07, it's truly nice to donate. Every Christmas many go to house to ask for some clothes bags, belts, sandals . I just let them chose the one I bought for them. I don't give used things during Christmas. In pandemic time, no one went to me to ask Christmas gifts gate locked banned.
