Where Did My Day Go???

How is it noon already? Man. I envy folks who don't do Daylight Savings. I just looked at the time and realized it's already lunch. I feel like I've only been awake for an hour. California voted out Daylight Savings and yet here we still are. What was the point of having a vote if we're still stuck doing this? I better do something productive. I'm still in my pajamas!

That is what I am wondering why in your state they voted to remove Daylight Savings and not having it enforced?

I think they were waiting for the rest of the country to catch up. We're all on the same page now, lol. So later this year I think no one is changing clocks anymore.

Unless Pretty or I have to go somewhere, I don't change out of my pajamas. I just switch into clean ones after I take a shower. I don't see a reason to get dressed otherwise. We average leaving our house about once a week to either buy groceries, go to a doctor or the Post Office.

@akruser13 I just got up and made sloppy joes for breakfast, if you're hungry. It's a little early for me to be awake but I slept since around 6 pm yesterday. I was exhausted. Sloppy joes. Photo is mine.

What's Daylight Savings?

It's a dumb thing some old dudes made a zillion years ago in history where we change our clocks twice a year by an hour so we have more daylight. It made some sort of sense back then so farmers or whatever could have more time to work without it being dark, but it hasn't made any sense for decades. The country finally voted it out and I think it should take effect in the fall when normally we'd be setting the clocks back. We're just...not doing it anymore.

Our state (Western Australia) tried hard to keep daylight saving but the people kept voting it out and in the end they gave up the fight. A couple of other states still have it.

It's aged out. We don't need it anymore!
