The teacher behaves inappropriately.

My young daughter just entered a new preschool. She is very happy and excited. The first few days, she told a lot about teachers. She said that the teacher often scold and hit the students. In it, there was a little girl who was often scolded by her. She also said that the teacher used terrible words to threaten the students if the students were not good. And she was very afraid of that. Should I reflect this to the Teacher? I am afraid that she will put bad attention on my daughter!

I totally understand your worries. I ever wrote a secret letter to the headmaster in the kindergarten to tell her the improper behaviors of the teacher. If this doesn't change, try to change another class or another school. Good luck!

Wow, thank you for you comment. Why I have not thought about writing a secret letter to the headmaster! The headmaster will be abservant to the teacher and There will be ways to correct that teacher's behavior.

The teacher should be reprimanded and reported to higher authorities.

I think so. I will try to do that if in the coming days I still hear my daughter talking about similar things.

@allen0187, it won't happen in our country. Parents in Philippines are war shockers ready to say 'try me'. especially those members of MARITES.

That is preschool they are not held at the same standards as an actual teacher. I worked as a preschool teacher before and this was one of the reasons why I left. I couldn’t stand for how adults would treat such young children and I would have hated as a mother to have someone do that to my own children. I wouldn’t bring it up to the teachers directly I would talk to whomever is above like whomever hired her or runs the places.

If a teacher did that here, the teacher would be looking for other work. As soon as allegations like that are brought against a pre-school here, the school itself will be investigated. The school may be closed down if they don't fire the teacher doing that.

I don't like the way the teacher educates their students. I think violence, like threatening student with terrible words or hit them, is not a way to educate children, especially when they are still young. Wouldn't it be obstructing their development if this was continued? In my opinion is that kind of teacher needs to be guided again. And maybe if one day I have children and my child experiences the same thing, I will warn the school and even move my child to another school. But it's just my opinion.

I agree with you. Baby should be taught with love. I'll talk to the teacher about my daughter' thoughts.

She better be reported to the principal. She is torturing the young minds. They might be traumatized. Better file petition to remove that teacher. She's bad.

I would report the teacher to higher authorities and would not send my child to that kind of preschool.Such behaviour could be traumatizing for such young children. She is not worth of being a teacher.
