Hey guys, it's afternoon here. It's almost 3 pm in my place. Well actually, especially today I have a lot of thoughts on my mind. You know, when we live in this world we all are worried about the things that happen in our lives, right? So do I. I have to admit that I've worried a lot about everything, whether it has happened, something happened today, or might happen in the future. But what I really want to know is how do you deal with your own thoughts? And how can you relax and overcome what you are afraid of? And when your mind was full of black clouds what did you do? Yeah, again, if you guys don't mind you can respond me, but if you don't want to, that's okay too. I just want to know what most other people do when this happens. I know there are lots of answer or methods if we search, but I'm just curious about you guys on this forum. Thank you by the way if ya'll respond to my post

I don't think that there is a way to get totally rid off all the worries and concern. But definitely with conscious efforts we can minimise it or learn to manage it. See what works for you. Meditation, walk and music helps me calm down.

@amelied There is always some or the other music playing in the background for me when I am at home. I start my day with chants and mantras. And later in the day it could be anything like instrumental, classical, light Bollywood songs etc depending on the mood. As long as the music is soulful, I am okay with it.

In 1972 I learned it is a waste of time to worry because most times what you worry about doesn't happen but more importantly when you worry you are spending time in the future (and when you feel guilty you are spending time in the past) and are not dealing with the here and now!! It was one of the most important things I learned in therapy and one I have followed for 50 years!!

1,You have to live in a Free Country,or your property and life will be taken at anytime by the government.Like what Mao did to landlords in China,Lenin did to rich landlords in Soviet. 2,You have to work harder and learn fast, this period is very busy and fickle. You will be fired if you stop trying to be best. 3,You need to have a peaceful heart, study Zen,Yoga or convert to Religion will help you get the inner peace. 4,You need to save money for the accidents.Money always can solve many problems.

If you have no control over the outcome, don't waste your time worrying about it. Worry about the things you can control.

Why to worry for something if there is nothing you can do to prevent the event? Better to relax and to think to something more constructive.
