"S.O.S." was released in 1975 and was ABBA's first major worldwide hit since "Waterloo". Originally titled "Turn Me On", it has been described as "Agnetha's first heartbreak classic". "How can I even try to go on? When you're gone..."
It is said that the Beach Boys tunes heavily influenced this song. "S.O.S." has been described as "pure ABBA" and "one of the greatest pieces of music ever made".
#1 in several countries, it hit #12 on the US Cashbox Top 100, #15 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #19 on the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

This was on my list as well. An excellent song. And, to your horror, there’s also a country song named “SOS.”
