I met this friend, I'll call her B, in junior high. We had Civics together. She was always different. I liked that. I liked the uniqueness and difference. Still do. But, B was a little odd too. She acted like she was better than everyone else. She sort of disowned me as a friend when she found religion. She married three or four times, used them and abused them, and then moved on to the next. She went from rolling guys downtown to becoming a teacher and very religious. I always have a problem with these types. People who do whatever they please and then think that because their God forgives them all is okay. I don't think so. It's still in their mind. Now I see her posts on FB. All religious and cute.

Communication is key in all relationships. Why do you not question her? What is the matter Ms. B? Don't you love me any more? Ms. B, why would disown a friend who cares so much about you? Are loyal, loving trustworthy friends really that easy to come by? Ms B, did you know that God loves me every much as He loves you? Ms B, I love you unconditionally whether you are religious or not.
Yes, there are a million questions one can ask. You can also tell her of her uniqueness. Seems it's time to look her in the eyes rather than assume or accept what you think is the truth.

Oh, believe me, we went round and round. She would just give me the stone look and that would be it. She knew I knew the truth and she couldn't stand it. I know the truth. She shared all with me, then hated me for knowing it. Screwy situation.

This is why I keep my religious opinions to myself. You are better off without her.

I thought she was more open-minded. Sadly mistaken. We had fun together but I went on to be besties with her older sister.
