Kendo is Japanese Fencing Art, some people say this is a martial art or a sport. Kendo use a Wood Sword (boken) and ussually use a bamboo sword (shinai). Its very interesting sport.

hey man, im a kendo-ka. the dojo were i learn martial arts is a karate dojo, but my sensei know a lot of martial arts, and hes teaching me becouse im one of the most advanced in the mental-espiritual-way. im learning kenjutsu, karate, jijiutsu, aikido, and kobudo i recomend you to learn iaido. i'm learning iaido too, is a lot faster than kendo, and there you may need a real sword at your service: erick

Yes, I love Kendo. Its one of my favorite hobbies. Ive been doing it for 8 years. I went to Japan to study Iaido as well.
