A school teacher in Gaithersburg Maryland was in the company of her two teen children ages are 14 and 16 years of age even though their genders were not mentioned, made a suggestion to their mother who did not give out her name due to privacy reasons to buy some instant tickets while they were waiting to be served fried chicken at Royal Farms in Churchton on the weekend of March 13.
The mom took the advice of her two teenage children and purchased three $5 dollar scratch off tickets including the winning lottery ticket named Diamond Mine X9 scratch off game that revealed 11 diamonds which revealed that she won $50,000 dollars prize money.
After the clerk at the Royal Farms store told the lottery winner she won $50,000 dollars. the lottery winner took Monday off from her teaching duties to cash in her winnings at the Maryland lottery headquarters to claim her prize.
The lucky lottery winner plans to use her winnings to saving money for the college education of her children which is good for her to spend her money wisely.
The store that sold the winning ticket will get a $500 bonus prize from lottery officials in Maryland.
One odd way to win a huge lottery prize by buying scratch off tickets while waiting for a fried chicken meal.
I do not blame the lottery winner for keeping a low profile winning $50,000 dollars since I am sure that she would have strangers asking her for money claiming they are on hard times.

I´d try to be quiet about those winnings too. One never know how many "friends" appear after that.

I would be hush hush about my winnings as well. As sad as it is, this statement is so true.

They are likely to buy more lottery tickets since winning is a habit.

@Deepizzaguy one winner out of millions. I think I’ll still keep my money in my pocket.

$50,000 after taxes is a nice chunk of change toward a college education.
