Can dead people really do that?

My husband’s grandmother (sister of his grandfather) died and his relatives made plans of going to the last night of the vigil. Unfortunately, the plans changed and they ended up not going last night. Some disagreement with his uncle or aunt? He could have gone with his father and mother but he was hard headed like that so no. Then the most bizarre thing happened. He was using his iPad while minding the store, a customer came and he put the iPad on the table. And the iPad fell. On the floor. It made such a loud crashing sound I could even hear from the second floor of the house. I immediately went down to check what the heck was that noise and he was already holding the broken iPad. With that ‘I don’t understand what happened’ look on his face. He said he didn't knock it off or sideswipe or anything. He always puts the iPad in that position -in the center of the freaking table. And the table is flat. And there was no earthquake. Or any movement or whatever. But the iPad fell. And now the iPad is useless. Then he told me something which gave me goosebumps. His dead grandmother did it because she was angry he broke his promise of coming to her last night of vigil.

Yes spirits can do that, all they need is enough energy to move it. Doesn’t mean it’s his actual grandmother it can also just be a guilty for not going when he said he would. He could have just dropped and not be thinking and thought he did what he normal did when your in griefs your not always thinking clearly and can at times space out and be forgetful. So you can easily drop something and think that you dl your daily normal thing when you didn’t. I don’t think any spirit would feel bad if a family member didn’t come on a certain day or time. One they have no concept of time.

@sol_cee I don’t call a third eye most people call this a 6th sense or they are just sensitive. Kids actually are very open since they are new to world and see things they adults have been told there whole life’s isn’t there.

I think it's what you chose to believe. In order to break a tablet, you would need some significant force. It's very possible she could've done it.

Hope the iPad is fixed or a new one is bought. Anyway, hoping your husband pays his respects to his departed aunt in his own way.

@sol_cee that might be the case. Either way, hope your husband gets a replacement iPad.

I don't know. I've seen things and heard things that I can't explain. I know what I think happened, though. *shrug*

It would freak me out as well. In our religion, we go to a holy place where spirits are believed to come, and we offer them some food and water and thereafter they seem to leave us fully.

Oh, I love a good ghost story! Does your store not have security footage you could review? Because you could put that on TikTok and go viral with a good ghost-caught-on-cam clip lol.

@sol_cee If it's on video let me seeeee lol. I love that type of stuff. I subscribe to a whole YouTube channel that's all ghosts on cam videos. The ones that are clearly fake are even still fun lol.

NO, his grandmother did not do it, he "thought" to have put the phone in the usual place, he was thinking to his grandmother and the fact he did not go and put the phone too close to the border of the table and it fell. That said, I believe in "presences", I had some weird things happening in our home.
