New Life?

I really am going to start posting here again, I swear! It’s been a rough few months as I suffered from sudden kidney failure and then my elderly mom had pneumonia. Almost dying did make life smack me upside the head - I gotta get my life together! It’s time to figure out how to get back to work full time m, etc. I had a plan but that fell through when the organization discriminated against me (story for another post). So now I’m not quite sure what to do. Having any set hours caused me extreme anxiety that makes it so I can’t work. I’ve been doing DoorDash but that’s not full time. So I am stuck here trying to figure out how to start a new life.

Hello. If you had a plan, get back to it. Don't let one bad incident derail you. Get the same attitude you had when you created your plan. It was just a setback. It shouldn't stop you from following that plan. You could try a temporary agency or a Worksource in your state.

I'm sorry to hear about your health problems; but I'm glad to see you back. I hope your mom is feeling better. Have you thought about filing for disability if you are unable to work a full-time job? Have a good week.

There is no rough life that is Forever. Keep your faith. Starting a new life isn't easy if the past keeps on taunting and haunting you. Acceptance and move on the best way to start a new life.

Start small. Find a job where you can set your own schedule.
