Hello beautiful peeps,
What's up in your part of the world? Hoping everyone is doing well and good. For today's discussion, I would like to talk about this particular show I've watched on TV called Undercover Boss.
What is your personal take on this show? Do you think it's worth it for bosses to play the field, check out what their emoloyees have been up to and to reward them accordingly, or do you think it's just a rubbish show with bosses donning the wigs only to find a reason to find faults with their employees?
Give your best opinion or review and there's no right or wrong answer here. Enjoy yourselves all and see you in the next discussion.

The title sounds very cool but too bad, it's not a good show like you said.

@ihasaquestion "Boss in Incognito" translated in English is "Uncovered Boss", but I did not like the show.

I watched it when it first aired and liked the idea and the show. It was fun to watch bad employees get called out and the good employees get rewarded. The back stories were good on the employees and I got the feeling that many of the bosses got an eye opener working alongside the employees and came away with a new appreciation for the hourly employees.
But.
After a season or two, it became repetitive. It was the same show every week only with different faces and places. It felt so scripted and predictable.
I have not seen an episode in years.

I really like your honest review on this show. Yes, it tends to be repetitive with the format, so fans may be bored and stop watching altogether.
But I guess there are quite a few interesting episodes and the show's being franchised in other countries too so that means it's certainly well received everywhere.

I would watch again. I'm sure episodes are available online.
If the shows were from other countries, I'd want to see that.

I haven't seen the show in years, but I remember it was good. Bosses discovered really good employees and unfortunately really bad ones. It was interesting.

Yes, it was an interesting concept of a show when it first came out.

@ihasaquestion To me it seems like that all the time, and then there's all these hidden goofy messages planted in them too. Not only are they going for the drama bit, they're trying to say something. It gets under my skin. lol

Ha ha, it's okay. But what is your take on the idea of a show concept like this?
