Dyed hair for first time in 4+ years

I had my hair dyed for the first time in.....a while. In fact, I haven't even had it professionally cut in years - I chopped some off the other day and it was totally crooked I realized in this picture (it has been since corrected), but the other day, me and my two sisters were together and they had an extra box of BRITE brand No Bleach Kit. It's supposed to be a safer way to replicate the results of bleaching your hair without as many harmful chemicals (without the bleach). My younger sister convinced me into allowing her to try an hombre style dye job on my hair. My original "plan" with my hair was to not dye it until it starts going gray - I'm 31 - and thin hair runs in my genes - so I made the decision to keep my brown hair until it's absolutely necessary to dye it (or, let it gray, who cares - I'll decide that when I get there) - but I haven't dyed it in a minimum of probably 4 years - so what the heck. I love how it turned out (and I love that the dye didn't go anywhere near my scalp, which I should keep healthy so it keeps pumping out hair - LOL) - it's pretty subtle unless you're in the day light. I'm glad the lighter parts don't look real orange. You can definitely screw up dying hair blond or bleaching. Have you done anything new with your hair lately?

I badly need to get my hair trimmed. It must be three or four months since it was done.

Your hair definitely looks nice. I have never dyed my hair. But I go for occasional heena mask for conditioning of my hair. That also works as a natural dye. I do it once in four to six months as it is a time taking one.

@arunima25, where could we buy heena mask? It's so interesting.

@cacay1 It's very common here. You get heena powder in all stores. My friend has heena bush in her garden. I get fresh leaves from her and make paste adding some tea and lime juice.

I got a hair cut last month. I’ve never dyed my hair, or really done anything to it except wash, brush, and cut. (I have naturally curly hair, so there’s really no reason to do anything with it).

You are a lucky duck! People style their hair for hours to recreate those curls.

Your hair looks lovely. As soon as I retired I let my hair grow out gray and no longer dyed it.

Wow, so nice hair, blondie? I haven't dyed my hair. I plan to dye my hair in June to get ready for the face to face classes, for a new look

Oh, your hair definitely looks fine to me. I actually like your hair color. Coming across your post reminds me to take action with my hair as well. When the covid-19 pandemic hit up until now, I haven't really had the chance to pamper my hair. It's all fizzy and it looks really messy. Been meaning to go to the salon for months now, but I always find myself buried in bed as I am deadbeat each day because I'm always working the night shift. I wake up in the afternoon with low energy. I always find myself energized at night time during which I am already working on my desk. The good thing I guess is that I'm working in the comforts of my home. Well, I guess I have to get a schedule at the salon to also have the pampering that I deserve.

I love your new hair color! I think it will give you a fresh impression. Actually, I've always wanted to try dyeing my hair, but growing up in a traditional family prevented me from doing so for years. I might finally have a chance for that when I step out of my parents' house someday, LOL.
