Filipinos seem to be divided these days when it comes to their choices of candidates. These days they use colors to signify what their choices are. Nitizens in every social media platform engage in arguments about their choices. They have the pink, green, red among others and they wear them.
Candidates are with their endless political campaigns.
What I can say now is that I am going to exercise my right of suffrage based on logic. Do you usually do when election comes in your country?

I always use my logic to caste vote. It is unfortunate that at the end of the day, most in politics are just politicians with their agenda in picture more than the national interest. But then I prefer to go with the ones who are better in the lot.

A lot of the time Pretty and I vote for opposing parties here, so we're basically wasting out time voting. *shrug* Not that what we think really matters. The votes that count are paid for well before they are cast.

Yes, some people would even resort to cutting ties with their friends because of differences in political views. What they don't realize is that, after the elections are over, those very politicians that thy fought for would actually sit at the same table, drinking coffee together and sharing their personal lives without even minding much about the previous election campaign. After all, those politicians are already used to mudslinging, they'll just brush it off afterward.

@Neil43 There are some who do, but it won't be easy to discern it with our public eyes. It's just that, the general public shouldn't have to fight against the people around them just because of differing political opinions. After all, the election period is just a season that'll pass.

The voters may have or have no knowledge about the people to be voted for...That's why it's essential for voters to be informed about candidates like their accomplishments..Voters have to analyze the information about the people to be voted for...

My philosophy professor always reminds us to practice 'minus malum,' so I always go with candidates whose programs seem to have fewer flaws than others'. But I remember that I couldn't apply this principle in the last election, so I chose not to vote for anyone.
