Malayali anywhere around the world should see the movie classmates. The college life that we miss a lot is filmed on to the screen. A good story with excellent songs make it a big hit. You should go to a theatre to feel the difference. Don't watch it on the DVD/TV.

for your generation ppl the movie reflects the kinda college life you had but for the present generation college life is entirely different on a different scale...so it makes little difference in our minds,to be frank just another ordinary movie...

i feel the true greatness of the film has been its ability to impress all kinds of people of all ages. the portrayal of each scene has been approached with great uniqueness. like others commented, the songs are brilliant and are one of my all-time favourite. the absorbing campus story leaves everyone in true nostalgia.

Oh! that was really a nice experience. I still remember the movie "Chamaram" that evoked nostalgic memories then. Having left college about quarter ofa centuary ago I wasa literally taken back to my campus in ottapalam. It is not that violence and passion sells . Good stuff has eternal market.
