Today was a pretty full day. We ended up celebrating my birthday (which was yesterday) today. We went to our favorite chicken joint for lunch. It's this place called Danny's which is a little mom and pop's owned place that has the absolute best fried chicken I have ever paid for. For $9 you get five or six chicken strips, and two sides and a biscuit.
After that we hit up a couple outlet stores so I could grab some random deals and then we decided to go to the zoo.
So by the time we picked up she child and stopped at Dollar Tree, it was time to make dinner.
The other day we went to Walmart with my grandma in law and she found a sale on Butterball turkey breasts. So she bought us two, therefore the main course in our dinner was free! So that also makes this a frugal food post I suppose.
Anyway:
-turkey breast $free
-mashed potatoes $0.89 (potatoes, butter, milk and seasonings)
-biscuits $0.75 ( four out of a bigger package)
-gravy $0.25 ( I used turkey fat, juice , milk, and flour and seasonings)
She child had oatmeal at like 7:15 because turkey wasn't going to be done in time, and she was tired. So I fed the other half and myself for $1.89. For the whole meal. Can't get much better than that.
@TheSojourner would be proud.
So would @JohnRoberts if he were still around.

I could care less what the cholesterol content of my dinner is.
