Maybe they're not "haughty" themselves, but they're just 'doing obeisance to their owners' (like when they feel compelled to tell us that this-or-that authors book is "published by 'a publisher' that is owned by 'a company' who owns 'a media-network').

Their latest report about 'Cryptocurrency' claims it is "an investment," and I don't think it is. Oh, there's a lot of 'investing' behind it (just like there is in the standard money-system); but its true purpose is "sending money to others."
But--just like most people won't switch to Christianity unless there's a promised 'Ticket to Afterlife Paradise' in it for them--most people won't validate the cryptocurrency-system unless they can profit from it (in standard-dollars )

I don't trust cryptocurrency. I've heard it can be very volatile. (Is that the right word?)

Is that 'where the price it was when you bought it can almost-inexplicably disappear (so that you LOSE a ton of money if you SELL the cryptocurrency you bought just a week before)?'
