My summer will not be complete if there is no mangoes. I saw an indian mango they are smaller mangoes than regular mangoes. I saw my aunt has it in their table and I get one. I enjoy it a lot. I went outside and I saw a house selling a bag of indian mangoes for 25 pesos. I buy some of them but some of them are already soft.
Now we have so many unripe indian mangoes given by friends and neighbors. For indian mangoes I like it unripe but a little ripe too so it won't be so sour. I dip it in salt with vetsin or MSG.
I also like the ripe yellow sweet regular mangoes. Sometimes I dip them in bagoong or shrimp paste.
I really like summer because of mangoes. Do you eat unripe mangoes too in summer?

How lucky. We don't have a tree but our neighbors have and some of our friends so we get free indian mangoes. Many are selling it too

@averygirl72 I know there was some point when the harvest was plentiful that my grandfather decided to sell it. But I remember when the harvest is not that plenty, we consume it as we make it into mango chutney, eat it fresh, with bagoong or sugar and salt mixture. Sometimes too we add it like a salad together with other veggies that serve as viand in our meals.
