Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 82 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I love it! Work was busy today because I lectured during all of the classes. That helped the day to go by quickly. We usually have to stay until 1:50 every day but we are allowed to leave as soon as the bell rings at the end of the day on days before holidays. (I have no idea why) I was outta there so fast that I beat the buses! I have 2 hours of tutoring today. I had totally forgotten because I was thinking that I was doing it on Friday but then I remembered that we re-scheduled for today because there is no school tomorrow. I got paid today and received $331 extra for a couple of weeks of doing it. Sweet! I am going to start working on the coconut cakes that my coworkers ordered from me for Saturday. They are a HUGE pain in the behind to make and involve 4 recipes and then the assembly. I am going to make the cakes and the coconut simple syrup tonight and the pastry cream and frosting tomorrow. That should make the workload better. The ingredients cost $37 for each cake. I am hoping they give me at least $60. They really should cost at least $75 considering all the work I have to put into them but I don't feel comfortable setting a price. Plus the more I do stuff like this for people the more people get to see/taste my food and who will want to order from me in the future. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
