Your Voice is So Powerful.. Do You Like It?

April 17, 2022 3:57pm CST
How often do are we deeply affected by a person's voice? And how deeply do we affect others, with our voice? Obviously, it's how we look, that is very key, when it comes to presentation and likability. However, to what degree, is the sound and quality of our voice, something that is key in presentation and how others receive us? If you had a capacity to get a vocal cord 'voice-lift' - a face lift for your voice, would you give it some thought to having one, or are you perfectly happy with the tone and pitch of your voice? Voice coaching, is another interesting topic. Do you believe that you could use some voice coaching, or are you perfectly happy with the way that you use your voice? Are you in-tune with the way others affect you, with their voice? Do you know of anyone who gives you 'warm-fuzzies' or the 'fingernails on chalkboard effect' when they speak? Isn't it interesting, how powerful the voice really is? Do you also know that your voice says alot about you? Check out more, with the video.. ~

Interesting that this topic comes up today. Last night I was listening to a classic book read by different volunteers and I was thinking how much I enjoyed the beautiful tones, great pitch, pace and power of one reader, whereas, another volunteer, well, I could hardly wait till she was finished with her chapter!

Voice doesn’t matter to me if they speak clearly.

As long as I can hear what a person is saying I do not care how their voice sounds.

There are voices that are disturbing, but not many, usually high pitched female voices. I usually do not care about a voice if I can clearly understand what the person is saying.
