I had been holding onto a check from the local community theater for about a month. It was a reimbursement to me for money I spent on items for costuming a recent show. A few days ago, I decided to cash the check. I called the bank at which the theater has the account and asked if I could cash it there. I could! I took the check to the bank, the teller asked to see my I.D., and as I was signing the back of the checked, I realized that I had nearly fully written my previous last name. I told the teller what happened and that I had no idea why I did that. She asked for my I.D. again. Then I asked her if I should initial where I had written the wrong last name. She said I could and I did. Wow! It's been over twenty years since I had written my previous last name on anything. I Can't Believe I Did That!!!

That is great that you were able to get your check cashed after you made that mistake.

Thank God that little mistake didn't cost you anything. It happens sometimes, we're just not thinking or something..
