I see where you can set up a store on WordPress to sell your items. I was thinking I might want to try it, but it is $180 a year. I was wondering if any of you have tried to use WordPress to sell your items and if it were something you would recommend or not. Any experience you are willing to share? I mostly sell by posting on Facebook. I have also recently sold by sharing pictures on Instagram and snapchat. Do you sell your items and if so, what platform do you use?

I only sold one thing, and I used Facebook Marketplace. Before you go to something new, ask yourself, do you make enough sales to justify the price? How much do you stand to lose, with such a high price tag?

I think I am going to set a goal of followers, likes, comments and interactions on my blog and then reevaluate it.

When you're just getting started with WordPress, it can be a bit pricey. WordPress, on the other hand, includes a slew of useful features, such as WooCommerce for sellers and other widgets, that can help you achieve your sales goals. Before making a decision, I recommend that you study all you can about it. You should also take into account whether or not you have enough money to buy a domain and web hosting for the next few years.
