My Guitar Center students are giving me "songs to learn." Do you have a favorite kid movie?

I have a list of three or four songs to learn. Some of my kid students have given me songs they want to do, including a couple from the new kid movie, "Encanto." I believe that means "enchanted" in Spanish. I used keep up on kid movies when I worked at the mother-and child drug rehab as a child psychologist. But I haven't recently. Two of my favorites are the original Lion King and Finding Nemo. But I haven't seen Encanto. Have you? I'll give these songs a listen over the weekend and get the basic structure(s) down so I can help the kids learn them. Do you have a favorite kid movie? My (adult) friends and I did watch the original Frozen. We thought it was silly. But almost every preschool girl I work with has Frozen shoes, shirts, and jackets. And they think the can freeze hot lava, like Anna and Elsa. Sigh. Cha-ching.

Encanto translates as charm or enchantment from Spanish. I have not watched this movie and I did not watch Frozen. Of the recent kids movies I liked Ratatouille and Princess and the Frog.

I like The Apple Dumpling Gang. And Animal House-------Some people say it's not a kids' movie but it is about college kids and college kids are kids.

I don't know if The Kid with Bruce Willis in it was really a "kid" movie in the most basic definition but it was a good movie. Ooh and The Rookie. But as far as cartoons, The Little Mermaid and Fern Gulley

I love Tom and Jerry. I find all Superman movies and Spiderman movies to be kid movies.

The first one I ever saw in a movie theatre with my dad was Mary Poppins and I have the video, I also like Frozen now and others but that one was special for me since I was daddy's little girl

Home Alone was OK, but I prefer cartoon kid movies. The original Lion King is worth watching, as it's basically Shakespeare's Hamlet with cute lions.
