GeeSH! The Weather Is At It Again

After I got home from the doctor's on Monday I thought Hmm! It is rather warm in here. I looked at the supposed upcoming weather and saw that it was going to be warm. I went ahead and turned off the heat in my room and the bathroom thinking we were in for some warmth. Boy! Was I ever wrong! Here I am today with a blanket around me and drinking coffee at 5:30p. at night. Geesh! Weather would you make up your mind?! We are in for a thunderstorm tonight and maybe one tomorrow.

THat's what we had. A couple of warm days, so I thought I could turn off the heat, and then it turned cold.

I like it like it used to be when I was a child. It would get rather hot during the day but we usually had a shower to cool things down in the evening. Now, that's a perfect day to me.

@celticeagle me too. It's how Ohio was when I was little. I don't recall ever sweating growing up. Seems I sweat daily here even when I'm cold which makes no sense to me.

We've got the air conditioner on here. It was 78F with bright sunshine today. It is just our bad luck that I was sick after we got home from the allergist this afternoon from all the testing they put me through. We need to mow but it keeps raining here. (We're under another flood warning for tonight thru Saturday. Maybe we'll be able to mow when the storms stop.)

@celticeagle The landlord won't allow that. Pretty mowed the front yard and started on the back yard before it started raining again. The grass is tall enough that it's taking a full charge to mow a couple of strips across the yard.

It's been unseasonably cool here in north Florida, and I am not complaining one bit about it. I know that in about a month it's going to be so hot and humid here that it will feel like we're melting.

What did your temps actually get up to then that day? We had temps in the sixties today so I turned the heat down to 66 until later when it began getting chilly inside.
I was outside for a bit today wearing a turtleneck and sweater but found I needed a hat as the was a brisk wind.

The weather has been unpredictable recently, and the forecasts don't appear to be accurate. As I write this, the sun is out, but it's still chilly, so I've had to put on my sweater. I hope the weather warms up a bit as the day progresses
